Helen Stoneman
Dietitian
Helen is a registered dietitian offering support to patients with gastrointestinal conditions or those with a cancer diagnosis.
Helen graduated from Coventry University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics. She has worked at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton since graduating. In this time she has worked with acute gastrointestinal patients with conditions such as Crohn’s disease, colitis, pancreatitis, liver disease, diverticular disease and malnutrition. Helen continues to work within the NHS leading a team of oncology dietitians within the hospital, supporting patients through their cancer treatment.
Helen additionally has an advanced practitioners qualification in IBS and low FODMAP to support patients living with IBS or late effects from cancer treatment.
Helen is dedicated to supporting patients with their gastro and oncology conditions. She is passionate about improving patients’ health with a specific focus on enhancing quality of life.
As you will find with many dietitians, Helen loves food! Talking about food, cooking, baking and eating out with friends! Her other free time is spent enjoying long walks with her dog and keeping fit with running, yoga and Pilates.
