Alice Murray-Gourlay
Nutritionist
Alice is a registered dietitian with experience across several clinical areas as well as a trained sports nutritionist working in performance sport.
Alice graduated from Plymouth University as a dietitian and then completed a Masters degree in Sports Nutrition. She has supported individuals with IBS, coeliac disease, diabetes, malnutrition as well working with amateur and professional athletes to optimise nutritional intake for improved performance.
Alice has expertise working with eating disorders and disordered eating across the clinical and sports setting. She has knowledge of working with several psychological principles and values the important of understanding the drivers of eating behaviour to improve outcomes. Alice recognises the complexity of eating and strives to support individuals build better relationships with food and eating.
Alice has always been involved with athletics and continues to train regularly for middle distance track running, 5ks and 10ks. She has also competed in several triathlons and played hockey, netball and cricket at University.
