Soft Tissue Therapist
Danielle joined The Crescent Clinic team in 2014 after qualifying as a Massage Therapist in 2013. Previous to this she was a swimming teacher, bringing with her a long-standing interest in health, wellbeing, and human movement.
She offers a wide range of treatments at the clinic, including Soft Tissue Therapy, Sports Massage Therapy, Reflexology, Lava Shell Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Indian Head Massage and Oncology Scar Therapy. Sports and Soft Tissue Therapy are at the heart of Danielle’s practice, focusing on reducing muscle tension, improving flexibility and range of movement, enhancing muscle function, relieving pain, reducing stress levels and supporting effective rehabilitation following injury.
Danielle works with a diverse client base, treating individuals aged from 9 to 91. Her clients include teenagers with a keen interest in sport, office workers, runners, and elite athletes including Team GB competitors, consistently achieving excellent results. She works closely with Taunton Athletics Club, supporting athletes with both performance and recovery. Danielle is passionate about demonstrating that Soft Tissue Therapy is for everybody.
She prides herself on making every treatment bespoke, drawing on her extensive knowledge of different modalities and many years of clinical experience to provide the very best treatment for each individual client.
In 2022, Danielle completed her ISRM Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy and is a proud member of the Sports Therapy Association, where she is also recognised as an STA Champion. She is an evidence-based therapist, ensuring her treatments are informed by current research and best clinical practice.
As part of her continuing professional development, Danielle has undertaken extensive additional training, including Pre and Postnatal Massage, RockTape strapping and taping, Massage and Reflexology in Cancer Care, and Oncology Scar Therapy (trained in 2025). This allows her to safely support clients undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment, with appropriate medical consent.
Danielle is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends The Therapy Show at the NEC in Birmingham to stay up to date with the latest research, techniques, and treatment modalities, ensuring her clients receive the highest standard of care.
